Had the absolute best LAMB SHANKS at the Hibernian tonight. The meat fell off the bone, was amazingly moist, Gravy beautiful and Mash also lovely. A stand out in our view. Along with amazing value as we recieved TWO Shanks not just one!!! Thanks very much Team!!

There is no better pub in australia. Where else can you buy a $24 parmy with such big portions and such delicious quality. Unreal food, beers were cold and also reasonably priced. This is a must if you are driving along the Hume!!!

We went to the Hibernian after a very disappointing dinner at the Astor Bistro, and I can tell you it saved the night!! The food was exceptional, fair prices and friendly staff!! Everything the other place wasn’t! If you want to have an excellent pub meal in Goulburn, this is the place to go.

Food is A grade quality and very good value for money. Portions are very generous and It’s our absolute favourite and when people from the big Smoke come this is the place we tell them to go.

Pit stop for the night at Goulburn, Hibernian for revisit and not disappointed. Very busy on a Tuesday evening, had the $20 Porterhouse 300g Tuesday special. Got charged nearly 5 bucks for a pint of soda water, now depending where you go these are free, it is just pub tap water with fizz. Other than that the menu is comprehensive and good value for money.

The food was exceptional and the lady behind the dar with the dsrk hair in a bun and stunning dropped gol earings had the best personailty. She also went out of her way to accomadate my walking issues.Shame shes going to Stradbroke for a while shell be missed by all.

This is consistently the best pub food in Goulburn. The staff go out of their way to find you a seat but because it is so popular, do yourself a favour and book ahead to guarantee a seat. The food is high quality and well priced but what really impresses is that despite the crowds, the chef and team are a well oiled machine and you don't wait long for your meal irrespective of the crowd. The staff behind the bar and clearing the tables are prompt and friendly. Cleanliness is always excellent. The hotel has been modernised and it feels contemporary rather than just getting a slap of paint . Given the evening and lunch time crowds, this has to be one of the most popular pubs in Goulburn.

Our Sunday lunch was so delicious we couldn’t have been happier! The reasonably priced menu made it hard to decide, settling on the local lamb cutlets which were amazing, served with a tasty gravy and vegetables, including a jacket potato. The pork belly was special and crunchy as promised. We’ve been before and we’ll look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

What a fantastic experience! I ordered the rib fillet steak and it was absolutely beautiful. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and one of the softest steaks I've had in a long time. It was definitely worth the money. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was friendly, and all of the food was lovely. It's the perfect place for a quality pub meal in Goulburn. I highly recommend the Hibernian Hotel and will definitely be back. Five stars!
